Gary Pugh (the owner) built the first SIP home in Sonoma County in 1988 and has been enthusiastically promoting the use of green and sustainable building practices to create low maintenance, durable homes that will stand the test
of time. SIP homes have proven themselves to be environmentally friendly, by using 50% to 70% less energy due
to their high insulation value. They create very little job site waste, require far less lumber, and dramatically reduce
installation times, which result in bottom line customer savings. Extra points are given for SIPs for all major Green Building rating systems, such as LEED & BIG (Build it Green).
Both experience and concern for quality have aided Pacific SIPs Source in our ability
to quickly recognize problems in the field, and find working
solutions for all parties involved.
Our objective is to educate our customer about the numerous eco-friendly building options that are available today so they
are able to make informed decisions as to what will work best for their project.
By applying these ecologically sound green building techniques, together we can reduce the impact of building on today's environment and into the future.
